Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Schema Pilot ("the Service"), operated by Schema Pilot ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Schema Pilot is a SaaS platform that uses AI to analyze web pages and automatically generate JSON-LD structured data (schema markup). The Service includes website crawling, AI-powered content analysis, schema generation, and an embed script for deploying schemas to your website.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Scan websites you do not own or have authorization to manage
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate misleading or deceptive structured data
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Schema Pilot offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Usage Limits

Each plan includes specific limits on the number of websites and page scans. If you exceed your plan limits, additional scans will be blocked until you upgrade or your limits reset. We reserve the right to modify plan limits with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by Schema Pilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your website content. The JSON-LD schemas generated for your websites are yours to use freely.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that generated schemas will be error-free, achieve specific search engine results, or meet all schema.org specifications.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schema Pilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
